JUVÉDERM Aftercare Tips
You should be able to see results immediately following your JUVÉDERM appointment. Many patients only need one appointment to achieve the look they desire, and results can last a year or more.
JUVÉDERM results in no downtime, but you may experience mild side effects like redness, swelling, sensitivity, and bruising at the injection sites. These symptoms should fade on their own in a few days. Non-prescription medications and ice packs are typically sufficient to ease any discomfort.
For best results, be sure to avoid sun exposure, strenuous exercise, and alcohol consumption for 24 hours after your appointment. Don't touch the injection sites, as this can cause the gel to migrate.
